AUGUST 18 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 9, 2006 at BROADIES TAVERN, I AM the first American Jazz Singer to perform in Tianjin, China's 3rd largest city, on the bar street, where most of the night clubs are located. The Doobie Doo Band backed me up and learned a lot of songs from the American Song Book, in the four weeks I worked with them.
